An article is linked below regarding the raising of the debt ceiling scheduled for a vote next week.  Does anyone want to bet the Republicans will cave, again, and raise the ceiling without any MEANINGFUL budget cuts?  Though cynical at this point, I pray they will do the right thing - follow through on their campaign promises.  If they don't, they pound another nail in America's coffin.

URGENT - per Congressman Yoder (KS), Obama has instructed the Dept. of Defense to NOT PAY our military men and women in harms way if the government shuts down.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!  During the government shutdown in 1995, the military WAS paid. Congressman Yoder has introduced a bill in the House to prevent Obama from doing this

WHEN WILL THE REPUBLICANS GET A BACKBONE ON THE BUDGET?

For how many weeks now has the House passed CR's (Continuing Resolutions)? These CR's cut NOTHING and allow our budget crisis to deepen.  Once again, we are allowing the Democrats and establishment Republicans to dictate the rules of the game.  Solution?  The Republicans need to take a stand, similar to the one taken by Scott Walker, and say "No more".  If a full budget cannot be voted that stops the bleeding out, then the Republicans need to allow the Democrats to follow through on their threat to shut the government down.  Senator Marco Rubio, Florida, is leading the charge of the few saying they will vote for no more CR's - see article linked below:
