"The White House is pushing a message of religious tolerance ahead of this week's congressional hearing on Islamic radicalism, which has sparked protests on grounds it unfairly singles out Muslims as potential terrorists.
President Barack Obama sent his deputy national security adviser, Denis McDonough, on Sunday to a Washington-area mosque known for its cooperation with the FBI and its rejection of the al-Qaida brand of Islam.
"Being religious is never un-American. Being religious is quintessentially American," McDonough said."
"Washington-area mosque known for its cooperation with the FBI and its rejection of the al-Qaida brand of Islam."? Talk about double speak. If Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism, then how is it that they cooperate with the FBI? Reports are that they inform on the terrorists. If so, then how do they know who they are? What is their common bond? OOPS! Its Islam and their mosques. It looks like the upcoming hearings are a good idea after all.
The purpose of this site is to honor the sacrifice, courage and achievements of our founding fathers. We will work to see that the "torch of freedom" that has been passed from those who birthed this country,to those in present day America, will not be extinguished by the enemies within. We also honor those in the military, many of whom have given their very lives, to protect our Constitutional Republic.
